CLIMATE CHANGE PREDICTIONS MORE LIKELY TO BECOME REALITY UNDER SNP - McINNES12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Thu 18th Jun 2009 Commenting on the latest climate change predictions for Scotland included in the UK Climate Predictions study, Liberal Democrat Climate Change spokesperson Alison McInnes MSP said: "These dramatic predictions of climate change are more likely to become reality because of the Scottish Government's toothless approach to climate change legislation. "They should act as a wake up call to the Government who are sleepwalking into climate change catastrophe. "The Scottish Government can no longer hope for the best without planning for the worst. Leaving the battle against climate change for our grandchildren to fight is simply not an option."
