McInnes - Accelerate North East Economic Action Plan12.00.00am GMT Tue 3rd Feb 2009 Commenting on the publication of The 10th Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce Oil and Gas Survey, North East MSP Alison McInnes said: "It is clear from this report that the oil and gas sector faces an increasingly uncertain future as a result of the current global economic recession, reduced energy demand and the compounding credit crisis. "This will undoubtedly result not only in reduced activity in the sector, but also impact on the wider business community in Aberdeen City and Shire. "Weathering this economic storm will be difficult and government at all levels have a role to play. I believe that the blueprint "Building on Energy" drawn up by ACSEF should be accelerated"
