Alison Welcomes Hovercraft Trial12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Fri 15th Jun 2007 Scottish Liberal Democrat Transport spokesperson Alison McInnes MSP has welcomed a two-week trial of a cross-Forth hovercraft service between Kirkcaldy and Portobello this summer. Commenting Mrs McInnes said: "We support the trial of this service which will increase travel options for commuters travelling to and from Edinburgh. "The Executive must follow the progress of this trial closely and, if it is successful, should support the necessary infrastructure for the service to continue permanently."
