MCINNES: NORTH EAST NEEDS THROUGH TRAINS TO LONDON

Commenting, Liberal Democrat Transport spokesperson and MSP for North East Scotland Alison McInnes said:
"Scottish Lib Dems stand side by side with the Chambers of Commerce on the need for through services to London from the North East.
"The economy of Scotland and the UK as a whole relies on the North East. It is critical that it is well connected to the financial hubs of London and Edinburgh.
"I have asked Scottish Secretary Michael Moore to come with me to meet with Nestrans to hear for himself the importance of the rail link for Scotland."
