Commenting on the glowing HMIe report published today for Gourdon School, Montrose, North East Regional MSP. Alison McInnes said:

"Gourdon School has achieved an outstanding report as shown by the "very good" quality indicators.

"The headteacher shows great vision and leadership and staff have high expectations of all children in their care, working alongside parents to help the youngsters reach their full potential.

"The children are all treated with respect and are made to feel valued; their individual achievements are celebrated".

Alison McInnes further commented:

"I feel that Gourdon School is a great example and I am sure that everyone will join with me in congratulating them".
