Commenting on the Scottish Government's announcement of funding for local councils to buy greener vehicles, Liberal Democrat Climate Change spokesperson Alison McInnes said:
"Liberal Democrats revealed that local authorities had bought just 11 environmentally friendly vehicles in the last five years.
"We know that only Aberdeenshire, Dundee, Edinburgh and Moray councils use any green vehicles.
"We want to see Scotland's councils supporting the roll out of exciting green technology by investing in greener vehicles as they renew their fleet."
