Alison McInnes, North East MSP & Transport Spokesperson for the Liberal Democrats today reacted to the Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce Oil & Gas Survey report, in particular the transport issues it raised.
Mrs McInnes said:
"This report contains a stark warning from the industry about the inadequacy of transport infrastructure in the north east.
"The Scottish government needs to pay heed to it. On the SNP's watch, the well developed blueprint for the city and shire's transport network, the Integrated Transport System has been brutally pruned. Crossrail has been watered down to nothing more than a few extra trains and the AWPR is running so far behind schedule that it is now well nigh impossible that we will see any activity on the ground before the next Scottish election .
"The SNP's lack of regard for the north east's needs is disturbing."
