North East Scotland MSP, Alison McInnes has expressed concern that the source of an oil leak in St Cyrus which is entering Woodston burn has remained undetected 2 weeks on.
Mrs McInnes said:
"I know SEPA have been working hard to identify the source of this domestic oil leak, however, as the leak is into an underground drainage system it is going to take a concerted effort from the local community to halt the pollution.
"It is costly for a householder to lose oil through leakage but the environmental cost to the whole area has a high cost too.
"I hope every household with oil fired central heating will heed SEPA's call to give their system a health check."
