Ellon's local MSP, Alison McInnes, dropped into Benchmark and Ellon Resource Centres open days on Friday 15 May.
Commenting afterwards she said:
"It is always a real pleasure to visit Benchmark and indeed the Resource Centre where there is a real feeling of unity and friendliness.
"The open days are an opportunity for the service users to show the public what they have been doing and the high quality skills they have learned.
"The wood products produced at Benchmark are varied and of a professional standard, each made with care.
"The service users, all adults with learning disabilities, are very rightly proud of the work they produce, which is then sold on to the public from their workshop and display area at Castle Hill Industrial Estate, Ellon.
"The Resource Centre open day was a celebration of achievement for the service users, staff and volunteers.
"I enjoyed seeing the variety of opportunities in the areas of work, leisure and social activities available to service users."
