Commenting on a Government scheme that uses social networking sites to get the message about road safety across to young people, Liberal Democrat Transport spokesperson Alison McInnes said:
"As the next generation of drivers, children across Scotland need to understand the importance of road safety. It's good that the most up to date technology is being used to drive home this message.
"But instead of posing for photo-ops, the Transport Minister should be working on producing the delayed Road Safety Strategy. We were promised this strategy almost two years ago, but the SNP is still consulting on proposals. This is simply not good enough."
