McInnes secures bus priority lane for Forth bridge

Liberal Democrat Transport spokesperson Alison McInnes MSP has welcomed the news that a bus priority lane will be created on the approach to the Forth Road Bridge shortly after the tolls are abolished.
Mrs McInnes campaigned hard for the priority lane, following the government's announcement that tolls on the bridge were to be scrapped.
Commenting, Mrs McInnes said:
"I am delighted that the Scottish Government has heeded my campaign for a bus priority lane on the Forth Road Bridge.
"Several successful bus routes depend on the Forth Road Bridge and in order to keep travellers using public transport and out of their cars, we must keep these services running freely.
"I have today tabled questions to the Scottish Government to ascertain exactly when the bus priority lanes will be constructed. I want to see the measures introduced as soon as possible in order to minimise disruption."
